Real Weddings

ErinBack in 1998 we were having such a great time at our wedding that we started taking our prints from our recent weddings, then scanned them and posted them on our website.  We wrote sometimes elaborate stories about the wedding day and discovered that some of our former brides started becoming mini celebrities on our website.  Strangely, we started doing something that hadn't been invented yet, blogging.   In an era where photographers thought it was fine to put up five images and a phone number, we saw broader potential in the ability of the website.  As our business grew, we unfortunately got away from this practice, but thanks to better web creation tools, we are back!

Instead of writing a story about every wedding we attend, each year we will feature ten weddings.  We our work cut out for us to post twenty weddings for 2007 and 2006, so, it's going up as we can get to it, and at the same time we will be posting 2008 weddings starting in mid year. In the meantime, here's what we have for now, and we are also including some classic weddings in our Old School section.

Years ago we had this cute little gal named Jen Danskin  who was so adorable that she nearly had her own fan club!  She was dating this guy for three years and never once kissed him.  They were saving it for the alter.  So, we wrote the story about their pending wedding plans and posted it with their engagement portraits.  People tuned in to see the big kiss and read the story about this amazing couple.  In 2007  Jen's sister got married, as did her cousin.  At her cousin's wedding, Andy performed his first service.  Oh my, he got people laughing so hard that it hurt!  He gave the best service ever!   That story needs to be shared in greater detail.  Also, we had a wedding in 2006 where the groom's sister went into labor in the back of the limo on the way to reception, it's another classic.  Still another wedding going back to 2005 had it's reception closed down due to a brush fire that got too close.  It wasn't over, it just moved 3 cities over in someone's back yard about an hour later.  It's a story of how amazing a wedding can really be!  We have so many stories, and we can't wait to share them with you!
