Our view of wedding photography.....

There are very few possessions in your life you will own that are uniquely yours. If your house  burns down you can feel feel good knowing that  just about everything you own can be replaced by an insurance check.  Many of your possessions are transitory,  you only need them for a certain amount of time in your life.   Photographs are something different.  They are a history of you and the people you find important.  Hopefully you haven't lost anybody that you are close to at this point of your life.  Unfortunately you will come to understand that you cannot keep all your friends and family forever.   Some move along, others die off.  It's sad when people you love are suddenly just memories.

Your wedding day is a day that truly is about you.  The people who embrace you and have helped make you who you are certainly are an important part of your history.   The importance of your wedding images really cannot be understated.  People often figure out how important good wedding photography is after their wedding is over and they didn't get good photography.   They start to regret all the important images that they didn't get.  There was one very big, important opportunity to do the job right, and unfortunately, it wasn't done right.  As the old saying goes, there is nothing more expensive than regret.

Our goal is to help you document the people that are important to you, and what happened on your wedding day.  We also try to make it look really interesting.  Our goal is to have a complete stranger pick up your album  and look through it and be able to really like you and your wedding day, to see that you had fun, and had people that really loved you.  When it's that obvious to a stranger, it would be that obvious to everybody. Our brides often tell us that they feel like celebrities after their wedding, showing their book off everybody who will look at it.  They can relieve their wedding over and over again.  It may be odd to say, but people's opinion and feeling about their wedding can be greatly influenced by their wedding photography.

You are going to look your personal best on your wedding day, your friends and family will be there to support you.  It's going to be an awesome experience!  As you make a family these pictures will be your children's heritage that they remember.  Thought they weren't there, these pictures are important to them.  After you're gone, these images will be your family history for generations to come.

With all this in mind, we don't view your wedding as just another job.  This is one of the most important days of your life, and even when you are very, very, very old, it will still be one of the most important days of your life.  We want to help you capture not simply good memories, or whatever picture style is hot at this very moment, but images that you will cherish for a lifetime.  Lifetime Images, memories of a lifetime.
