The best thing about Southern California is that you have a nearly unlimited supply of hotels. Some of the best and most famous hotels in the world are located within your geography. Consider yourself fortunate that you can select from five start hotels down to a lot more modest hotels. If you check with people in other parts of the country, their choices are sometimes less than half a dozen hotels that can host their wedding. If they get booked, you are out of luck!
Of course the real benefit of having a reception at a hotel is that everybody can stay at the same hotel and make it like a family reunion. If people party too hearty, they can stagger back to their room. And of course, if the event of your lifetime with all your family and friends followed up with a wild night of passion leaves you sad that this chapter of your life is over, at least you will have one thing that you can count on to look forward to the very next day.
