Golf Courses
For years and years golf courses have been very popular venues for wedding receptions. In doing our research we've discovered that a lot of golf courses are owned by the same corporation, so there really isn't a lot of difference between many of them. What we have seen is that there is a trend these days to remodel some very old and tired golf course, and offer a more upscale event to their clientele.
Typically golf course serve "A meal" as opposed to fine dining. Some golf courses serve upgraded meals, but for the most part some deriviative of steak and chicken are the staple foods they they serve. Prices for meals can vary widely, so check at least a few out before making any firm decisions.
For the most part, many golf courses have lovely settings for taking pictures, some better than others.
